Snap disc #3 is the most common switch across the entire QuadraFire product line. This switch always mounted on the backside of the feed tube, directly in line with the opening of the drop chute.

- Cut off power to the entire unit when the temperature of the feed tube to the return hopper reaches or exceeds 250°F.
- Snap disc is normally closed, if this switch is open it can be reset by pushing in the button between the two grey/brown wires.
- Snap disc #3 is located on the feed tube under the hopper at the back of the unit.
